So you see, it doesn't really matter what color or metal the ring is. What matters is the representation of a lifetime together, that's what the ring symbolizes, nothing else. You can be just as happy if not happier with a silver ring then an expensive diamond ring. In fact, your bank account will surely be much happier as silver cost a very small fraction of gold and cubic zirconia stones look just as real as natural diamonds.
